Gastronómika 2014. Wines from Valdeorras arouse excitement in San Sebastián among experts and amateurs

Last week was held in the city of San Sebastián a new edition of the fair Gastronomika. At the fair, for the third consecutive year, the wines of Valdeorras through the stand of the regulatory Council. The technical manager of the DO, Jorge Mazaira, was commissioned to promote wines and offer tastings between the large audience. PRESENTATION TO THE ASSOCIATION OF SOMMELIERS OF GUIPÚZCOA

In addition to the presence in the fair of San Sebastián Gastronomika, wines from Valdeorras also arose in a tasting to the members of the Association of sommeliers of Guipúzcoa. The event was held on day 9 at the headquarters of the school of San Sebastian and the President of the regulatory Council, José Luis Pando and technician, Jorge Mazaira to provide information about the denomination and the characteristics of the wines was attended by. Godellos, sparkling wine-tasting and mencias was completed with other wines made with the new trends in the DO: brancellao, sousón and caino.
